New Hospital Facility
For a major regional integrated health system, Atlas was selected to install a central, whole building reverse osmosis drinking water system to feed a large number of water coolers, automatic coffee makers and ice makers within the hospital.
Integration to meet other hospital needs: An additional line was installed from the system to meet other previously installed water purification equipment (installed by Atlas's High Purity Water Group) that would create “High Purity” water to feed sterilization, washing, decontamination, and surgical support products as well as a blood lab.
The Hospital’s infectious control department was a supporter of this system as they believed it to be more contained than bottled water for purposes of preventing the potential spread of disease within the facility. The overall cost savings and space savings from not having to store bottled water have also been significant.
